Cony's Ben Lucas sets new Maine TD pass record

Cony High School quarterback Ben Lucas is now Maine's all-time leader with 86 career touchdown passes.  Lucas set the new mark with five touchdowns in Friday night's 48-38 Eastern Class B football championship game win over Brunswick.

Lucas, who broke the old record of 84 held by Winthrop's Lee St. Hilaire (2001), will have a chance to extend the mark when Cony plays Kennebunk next Friday in the state title game.
